Brief Description
Presidential Regulation No. 55/2024 mandates the establishment of Regional Technical Implementation Units for the Protection of Women and Children (UPTD PPA) in all provinces and cities/municipalities. These units provide integrated support services for women and children victims of violence and abuse, including shelter, counseling, legal assistance, and medical care. As of 2024, UPTD PPA has been established in 34 provinces and 329 cities/municipalities, strengthening access to protection and essential services nationwide.
